I am a passionate and driven channel leader who creates and oversees the growing and prospering Channel program for Instructure, the company behind Canvas LMS, the most widely adopted learning management system in the world.
As the Global Programs Sr. Manager, I lead the charge as Instructure rolls out a comprehensive and innovative channel program that incorporates various types of partners, such as value-added resellers, premium services partners, distribution partners, and referral partners. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, operations, and enablement, to design, launch, and manage the program operations, policies, knowledge bases, and certification processes. I also deliver high-quality partner enablement sessions globally, supporting the growth and performance of our channel partners. Thanks to my efforts, the channel program has generated over $1M in revenue in the first six months, and has expanded our reach and impact in the education market.
My mission is to empower others to be more awesome, whether they are educators, learners, partners, or colleagues. I thrive on building relationships, solving problems, and reaching goals. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and take on new challenges. I have a dual degree in history and Russian from Brigham Young University, and a master's degree in teaching from the University of Southern California. I am also fluent in Russian and have multiple certifications in education and training. Some of my honors include being nominated as Teacher of the Year, receiving the Customer Success Org Award, and recognition in the revenue org within 6 months of starting a position in Channel.

Classroom skills are transferable, and for a dedicated educator, those skills are generally at a high enough level of expertise that they can clearly help others learn those skills.
Presentation Skills - adaptable, think quickly on my feet, storytelling style
Program Management - thinking short term and long term, design to meet objectives and KPIs
People Management - ever met a room full of teenagers that don't want to do their work? That's unique preparation to lead a room full of professionals that do (most of the time).
Organization - teachers must communicate expectations clearly, and often deal with "angry clients" that just didn't read the instructions
Communication - how do you get a room full of teenagers to not only understand why the Silk road was significant in world history, but be able to critically think about it and use the information to problem solve modern issues? You communicate very very clearly... and persuasively.
Get-er-done-ness - Teachers know how to get things done quickly and with minimal resources. We literally make magic every day... and that's magic you want on your team
